The Gardens

I am so outdated! I just can't believe that i...don't even know the existence of The Garden next to Mid Valley till i visited Thiam Hin's blog the day right after my exam...paiseh man!

Today after meeting some of my juniors at my former high school which is located approx 2km from the school, i finally decided to pay The Garden a visit with my friend.

The Gardens!
It is the second phase of Mid Valley. The Gardens contain a high-end shopping centre, one hotel, residential suites and office space.
According to what i knew, The Gardens will have 200 shops and the most attractive part of this new building is the ROOF GARDEN.

The architecture of this building was impressive in MY OPINION....
Nevertheless the shops here are all BRANDED.

ANother thing that i felt interesting was this:

The toilet here was high class as well. Note the Brownish Desk situated in the middle of this pic?
Me and my friend asked: "Is that for 'toilet receptionist'?"
Lame i know...lolz

Well after visiting The Gardens we headed back to MV. Can't afford to spend my day here. It will be too costly.

Marche Fever...

Two weeks ago me, TL and CM came across Marche in The Curve and for college students like us we can't afford to have a proper meal there because the price here is killing i tell you. U can easily spend RM70 and above for a meal (as in you want to have a full and proper dinner)

THe Concept of Marche Restaurant
1. Everyone will be given a card when u enter into the restaurant.
2. Find the place u like and sit down.
3. Go get your food at various stalls located in the middle of the restaurant. (quite alot variety)
4. Once u get your food the waiter there will chop a chop on the piece of paper.
5. Pay when u leave the place. Show ur card to cashier and pay b4 u leave.

How i feel about this concept here...
I shall say the concept used here was quite clever. When you find the food here nice and when u just need to get your card chopped when ypu want to placed an order, you'll tend to forget about the amount you'll need to pay. This is what happened to me last time when i came here with my family...hehe...dad pay so no worries...and now i noe how it really feels...

When u reach the cashier counter...your heart beat tends to increase...hehe

However i gotta express my GRATITUDE to all malays!!!
because we get to enjoy a Ramadhan Buffet promotion for the month...wakaka!..

RM 38++ from 6pm-11pm...its really worth it compare to the normal days.

28/9/07 We made it!
And we fellows gathered ourselves today to have a GAO GAO dinner together. 7pm we plan to gather but end up everyone reached around 8pm and at that time it was full. So we made a reservation then we went for a walk...within 10 minutes we got ourselves seated. So lucky!

It was really an enjoyable dinner we had. We were all from the CHS previous badge's Chinese Society members and see how united we were?! lolz... Shared alot here and with the presence of Mr Ooi, our dinner will definately be fun because of all his jokes man and it really was!

We were so full because of two reasons:
1. The food. We really ate alot....
2. The lughter. Mr Ooi was really really...awhhh! Besides laughing you'll do nothing!

However....
One thing i got to complain! U noe wat? This buffet only allows us to eat but excluded BEVERAGES! How can we survive! Clever rite? But we were also clever...some of us brought our own water bottle coincidentally and some really din drink at all until we left the restaurant at about 10pm then we find another place for DRINKS!....Two of them just ordered mineral water. And they were so glad that they allow to refill for mineral water so they drank alot there...lolz..

The one on the left side: Mr Ooi. Followed by Yee Cheng, Yit tze, Hui peng, Yee yoke, Chew min, Hui huay and Corey....(too bad lydia left us early)

Thats all. signing off now. Nitez...oops!..Morning(2am now)!

Hooray! Exams are all over! I am not going to mention anythig about my Tax Paper today..
Don't wanna let it spoil(this indicates something on how "well" i was in today's test) my mood..

Everyone felt so relief after the test!

Normally in exam hall when the invigilator announced that we have 30 minutes/15 minutes left everyone will start pulling their hair and say : "huh?"/"Shit" to express they need more time..
HOwever fot today's paper when Ms Rozi said we have 5 minutes left and though we were still trying very hard to attempt and solve the questions, they are some people in the hall shouted "YES!"...hehe

Right after exam as usual we went for celebration..at Pyramid. Had lunch there and met with some friends and told us they were watching HAIRSPRAY and ask if we wanna join...
Then when we intended to proceed to the box office to purchase the ticket, we saw another bunch of friends buying ticket for Chuck and Larry...
Well as the result after comparison made by ED, we chose Chuck and Larry, we chose C&L. To him, who are Zac Effron, Queen Latiffah compare to the King of Comedy Adam Sandler and Kevin James?!

Surprisingly we saw alot of CAT students in the same hall with us...almost 25 i guess...and in this show you will laugh from the begining till the end ofthe show! Its amazing and we tend to forget all out stress and worries before that especially Edgar while watching the show! The jokes were.....AWESOME!

Well i will have a break on Friday and class are as usual next Monday! Why can't we have more breaks like other courses?!??!??

MSN = Cut Cost

Well i do think MSN is an annoying tool all this while because i don't like all the pop up chats and those irritating sounds and it takes a lot of my time while chatting...

But lately there are some reasons made me don't feel this way.One of the reason is i don't need to waste any of my credit during the exam period.

As u know my DUMBOS like me needs to ask plenty of questions and solve my doubts at the nite right before exam so i tend to made a lot of phone calls and disturb people like Yi Lian etc..or sms them..really sorry... but as for today TAX, i just made one call and others i solve it through msn without wasting a single cent...haha(As u can see above: I am TAXING with Ed and Alvin, chatting with David etc)

Moreover besides discussing exam questions i also get to release stress by picking up some friends to chat with and thanks to them for ENTERTAINING...

MSN is not that bad actually...

Another exam post. Lately i've been struggling for exams man... not prepared at all..so got to burn midnight oil almost everyday! How nice if i can ........

SLEEP!!!!!
First two papers (6 & 7 which was the easiest two among four papers) i screwed up man especially costing. I admit..i didn't put much effort on this paper moreover didn't really pay attention in class for this paper.. well and now i deserve it!

Yesterday night was the worst! Slept at about 3am(Took two packets of Maggi Mee to keep me awake).... Audit paper...The one that all of us are scared of! Just manage to finish all her notes and read only 3 tutorial questions then straiht away went off to bed! Can't afford to stay awake any longer because exam was at 8am...

And guess what?! To me, this paper was really really easy(not to say i can score high for it) compare to the first two!...It means i will really screwed up in my first two papers...cause i still have doubt in this audit paper.

But what Joyce said was true if we study we will definately be able to answer all her questions.
Her questions were all tips given in class and all based on her notes!!! Despite that, i still can't pour everything out...

Those Questions which requires us to sate 3...4....factors etc... i kept forgetting 1 or 2points...end up i only answer half the question.

Tonight will be my last night of NIGHTMARE!!! Tomorrow TAX paper...though its my favourite subject but i still face problem memorizing and familiarizing with all the Acts and Sections... Headache!....

Sunway University College...

Today Ms Rozi announced the Prize Winners List for last semester. Almost 80% of all the top three Malaysian and World Prizes are from Syuc... World Prize for all subjects are from Syuc accept audit where our highest ranking was 2nd place in the World...

You know why?
This is my college's library and it reflects how crazy a.k.a serious all the students are...especially at the peak period. Progress Test 2 is coming. And as i've mentioned our lecturer kept reminding us whoever fail regardless by 1 or 10 marks will still be barred..

Everyone was so nervous and start their Action Plan. Most of my friends were at college and spent 14 hours studying a day...from 8am-4pm class, then they straight away headed to the library till 10pm at night!

This really really made me felt nervous and worried for myself whether or not i'm prepared?
Double Entry? Ok la..
Costing? Worst..
Audit!? No way..
Tax? Still not up to my expectations...

Worry is a rocking chair
It keeps u busy
But leads u no where..
(My lecturer always say this in class)
FOCUS!

Sungei Wang Debate Show

I'm back with this post. Today i went to SUngei Wang in the evening with my Xschoolmates who are all debaters...There is a launching ceremony for the new debate regulations.

The two debate teams who demonstrated the new regulations were divided into the Celeb Team(members of various TV host in Malaysia) and Trainer Team (consists trainers who are currently training the Malaysia's Uni Debate Team).

Let me tell u this. I bet everyone there including themselves also perceive that the Celeb Team will rock this show but surprisingly the Trainer Team really rocked throughout the whole session. Celeb team were just normal...some even think that they are really good and gave the trainer team some discriminative looks...gosh!

Left hand side: TV Hosts from AEC, TV2, and 8TV
Right hand side: Rocking trainer team...

This show was really nice. Somehow it made me think off my debate time with all my team mates but too bad..SyUc has got no debate team...moreover a CHinese Debate Team..

To some of my friends who are currently in the secondary school debate team and who reads my blog:

新赛制
主辩呈词
一助对双方主辩进行法庭式盘问后小总结
双方二助进行对辩
自由辩论
结辩总结

这场明星赛真的反映两件事情:
要么。。。
1. 反映辩题真实性:辩手进军主持界,外型比口才更重要
要么就。。。
2.反映另一个显示:进军主持界后,“人” 都会比较有架子/“假”(除李欣仪之外),
辩才(口才依在)也渐渐衰退 哈哈!

Bloghopping Fun!

Lately i experienced bloghopping through a number of links from my friend's blog and hmm.. its nice making new friends around through internet and some of their blogs were really interesting. I even met someone who studies ACCA and i think she is a brilliant one... can't mention everyone i know here sorry but they are all in the "bloggers" list...Once again

nice to know you guys!

However there are some bad news here for me too..haiz.. my progress test will resume in 5 days time and i've got tonnes of notes to cramp with...Just let you know how much i have to SWALLOW...:

Paper6:
160pages ++
Paper7:
Basically i got to read everything as if i am attending my Costing class for first time cause i really screw up in this paper and i don't understad...where Phing is good at it i know...
Paper8:
Audit Paper i got 200pages++ and lastly
Paper9:
Tax paper where i got another 150pages++
and these are all just notes...not including Textbook...terrible right? and for audit my lecturer made an agreement where whoever failed this test will be barred for attending the real exam and don't you think its easy to pass(40marks) cause our highest marks for the previous test was only 60... Bless everyone of us...

Nasi Astrology....

Did a seer from India recorded your Past,
Present and Future 2000 year ago?

Can you believe that someone in India is storing records of your entire life cycle ie. your past, present and future, hard to believe but Yes, this is called Nadi Astrology. This is an ancient astrology, which has been composed in the past using their spiritual powers. The sages recorded these predictions for every individuals in palm leafs.

Something more unbelievable is that in just a small palm leaf, he is able to predict the characteristics, family history, as well as the careers of innumerable individuals.

This particular person even reads the life for various Prime Ministers and also King and Queens recently....

Q&A session:

1. You mean they have the readings for all HUMAN BEINGS in this planet?
The answer to this is that from past, the sages have already predicted at which time and date who will approach them and therefore the leafs are so called "filed up" accordingly and they will then read it out to those who approach them at the right time.
And this is certified that it has a minimum of 70% of accuracy.
But there is so far one person who have the so called original record and who knows how to interpret it.....Amazing isn't it?

I've got lots to sharings these days.. I just enjoyed the Sutra session in the course and today's sharing was really really amazing yet interesting.

The instructor was sharing with us about this documentary from Discovery Channel. It wasn't a new terminology she said and this was also featured in the STAR newspaper. She was first a disbeliever of this thing but as she was attached to this course and met this person she really found it amazing! However there are also Con mans using this to con inquisitive human like us.

Have you heard of itbefore?
Do you believe in it?...

This is a phrase found from the Nadi astrology website:
Thumb prints speaks about your past, present, future, marriage, relationship etc....
Want to know your destiny?

Art of Living...

The art of Living

Has anyone come across this term lately? Well, just a brief introduction its a Meditation course recognized by WHO.

Lately for these 6 days i will be on this course. Started since Tuesday. Basically they've taught us a lot of ways in breathing, meditating etc.

Question comes: "U pay just to learn how to breath? muahahaha" my friends reaction i.e YP who laughed for the whole day...
Breathing was once a piece of cake before i joined this course(though i was forced too at first) but after that you'll know how unhealthy or wrong are we.

Sri Ravi Shankar the founder of Art Of Living....

Well i am not here to tell what kind of breathing lessons i went through because i've signed an agreement not to disclose anything moreover teaching cause it may harm and furthermore i am sure u guys are not interested like me too!...
But there is one story i would like to share.. Read This!

Before reading. Follow my instructions:

1. Put a bunch of keys in front of you.
2. Try to pick it up.
3. Remember! I asked u try to pick it up but NOT TO PICK IT UP!
Can You?

Everyday the class will be divided into few sessions and one is called the Sutra where they'll share some Lessons in Life with us.
Yesterday, one of us were asked toproceed to the front stage and did what i asked u all to do like the above instructions and everyone frowned?!.. don't understand...

The moral of this so called "instructions" began....

Your mind doesn't understands the word: TRY!

She gave two examples:

1. When someone called you and asked: Can u come tomorrow?
You answered: "I'll try..." what does it mean? It means you've planned not to attend isn't it?

2. Imagine this situation: One they when you were on a plane ready for departure, the pilot made an announcement and said this: "Good evening all passengers, it is now 6pm and we are TRYING to leave the land heading towards somewhere..." Wouldn't it be funny?

So never tell yourself you will TRY to do something cause when u said so this means ur mind is still resisting and the more u resist, the more it persists.

Its either you DO IT or YOU DON'T!

Have u heard off the BLUE MOON?

Today class starts at 11.30 so i took bus to college. Had my breakfast at a mamak stall in KL and while eating i was watching the NAtional Geographic Channel.

Everyone there (almost 10 of us) were watching it and at times we were so into the documentary until we did not even touch our food. the show ends at 10.30am. I watched the whole documentary and when i went to the cashier to pay for my food, i requested him to press the info button and now i knew the show name:
National Geographic Special.

This might be something u've seen it before long time ago but for people who don't tune on to Channel 52 like me in my entire life and i accidentally get exposed to this documentary, it sounds new and moreover attractive to me!

What was that so attractive about this documentary? I wasn't sure how true is this but its about this:

National Geographic's 'Extraterrestrial' takes viewers to two alien worlds, Blue Moon and Aurelia, to examine alien lifeforms researchers believe could exist on extrasolar planets.

The emphasis on that one hour documentary was only on Blue Moon!

The planet on the left hand side is what they so called the BLue Moon!

They discovered alot of things where they believe in Blue Moon they have this:
I only remembered this three names...and they're really amazing...

Hydrogen-filled floating plants rise above on Blue Moon.

15-foot tall Gulphogs....some new creatures discovered...

And this is one of my favourite creature they ever discovered...they called it the Sky Whale...

Well i only get to jot down the names and find these pictures through google...can't further describe all the creatures' living habits etc...but the whole documentary was really amazing!

After looking at all these new creatures and animals, i would not wanna visit Zoo Negara(that day few of us plan to...) hehe cause compare all the above ones..Z.N were just....lolz

My life lately..."Time is Not Enough!!!"

Most of my friends are having their course exams lately...some are having their SPM trial..
Undeniable that their life would definately be so stressed and "Time is neva enough"..But why for me?

Lately i just felt like i had lots of stuffs that i wanted and need to do but i just don't have time!

Class are always till evening...reach home late and of course due to some of my LAZINESS... i started off doing stuffs so late.. and i always felt tired these days at about 11.30-12am/.. Hence i went to bed by then.

Used to listen and download musics but lately nope!

Used to watch drama but lately i watched only 20 mins...then i swiitched my comp off!

I knew i wanted to finish one chapter of John Grisham's book a day but end up flipping through few pages then i put it back...

Knew i need to read through newspapers but end up flipping through few of the Biz Section and ran off...

At that time i finished(finish as in e.g giving up reading half way through when i look at my clock) what i want to do, its about 10.30pm...then i know its time for me to do HW/ Revision.

If i do have some HW...those tonnes of HW i will only complete by the time after 12am cause it was really tough but if i don't, i will open my notes...FLIP through and by 11 something i want to sleep! Arghhh whats wrong man!

Times passing so fast man and i just felt like....

FuYoh!

Gotta tell you guys something amazing happened to us today!

We are having our Moral Presentation today. Before this, due to lots of factors and circumstances, we had a lot of last minute work to be done and apparently our moral values etc were all not ready cause we can't figure it out. We thought we would've screwed up badly!..coz if we don do our presentation nicely, we will need to score very very high in our written test...

This was what happened this morning 10am...at 3.10 doing preparation...

YP still typing.. Edgar was so nervous walking up and down...Jason and I(I finish memorizing already..hehe) fooled around...Ze Ci memorizing her stuffs...

Take turn to present...

hehe...Edgar's turn..and look at him!!!

After practicing and practicing.. we went to Audi to attend our class. This time we sat in front of our lecturer to gain GOOD IMPRESSION. Seldom talk... pretending that we were paying attention to others' presentation...but actually we did la.. just that there are some distractions in between...

We were nervous actually but i wrote a small note on my paper to them: WE CAN DO IT! (Law of Attraction)...I even told myself i can speak without referring to the slides and have contact..hehe...

Our turn now.. we had few things different from the other groups:
1. We did not stoodd behind our team mates when they were presenting and in fact we sat on a chair next to them

2. We manage to embed our video clips into the slides... though these two were not important factors..

Everything went on smoothly and i really enjoyed it!... especially the Q&A part.. gosh! there was a guy who asked a lot of questions man! He really made me felt so nervous...

We ended our presentation and thanks to Johnathan who asked the entire Group 2 clapped for us so loudly because..hehe...the guy!

We got 21/30..so far the highest in our group and this is unbelievable! Five of us looked at each other with JOY and we just dunno how to express our feelings man!..We even hold each others hand and shook it thoroughly...hehe

So far the comments there stated that the overall performance was good etc etc but we loose marks for our moral issues, moral dimensions, performance...etc

After we ended out class, we go YAM CHA..played and talk... we were really very satisfied!
Thank You YP, JTCS, ENSW and TZC!!!!

Funniest Thing Ever Happened to Corey Chan

What goes around, comes around.

Today i was supposed to have my tax class at 8am.
As usual what we, teenagers do when we were really exhausted is to Snooze the alarm clock and it rings, snooze it again and it rings..end up shut it off.

Its now 7.45am and my father knocked on the door. Telling me that i was late. WTF! I quickly stood up, made a call to my friend to inform him i will be late and rushed to the toilet, came out at 7.55am...leave house then....

When i reached ground floor...
"Why Yee Paio never sms me wan?" said myself, touched my pocket and u know what, went up again and took my handphone. I left it in the living room and thats why i don't receive any smses...

8.25am...
I smsed YP to asked him where is the class but i receive no reply. So once i reached i straightly went to the classroom where i presumed it to be my classroom for the day.

Reached the door and ran in...

Read this!:
Corey? I think u were in the wrong class! said Joyce.

My goodness it was so embarrassing...!!! Of course i made a very embarrased look and ran off...gosh! Why am i so unlucky!?

Joyce told her class that she'll made fun of this issue when she attend our class later because the same thing happened to my friend, Edgar last week...late as usual and ran in to HER class instead of Rozi's...but luckily she didn't. Fiuh!...

(i remembered that day when Ed told us this i laughed like hell... and today their turn to laugh at me!... but i think i am not that bad cause i reached the door and ran off, unlike edgar..he went straight up to the lecturer theatre's and was almost ready to sit down...lolz)

This is the most embarrassing moment i ever had man! embarrassing myself in front of almost 100 college mates...PAISEH!

They Are Back!!!
The HSM(a.k.a High School Musical)

Recommended by my friend to watch this last year in the Disney Channel and i found this movie really awesome as it reflects all teenagers life and the best part were most of the dialogues were sang out by the main characters as this is a musical show..

HSM 1(love the song: the start of something new)

HSM 2

They're back again this year. Due to the popularity among teenagers.
6th of September 2007 at Disney Channel.
Last week, i was watching Astro and suddenly found out that i wasn't subscribed to the channel since January. Gosh gonna miss it!
However i really didn't knew that they already had pirated DVDs selling outside so hehe...my friend borrowed me this..
Moreover, Cineleisure was showing this movie.

Up: Vanessa Hudgens
Down: Zac Efron
As a result of the HSM effect, they won an award each in the Teen Choice 2007

However, i heard my friend saying that this episode wasn't that nice. Just got it today but still haven't get to finish watching it but i just watched the first 5 minutes...they started with a scene where all teenagers like it:

Its the last day of school b4 summer break. They're having the most boring class and they're waiting for the clock to strike at 3.00pm sharp.
At 3.59.....all student's started "Summer....(doop doop)Summer...(doop doop)...Summer etc"
and the song and story began.....

What a coincidence that i came across issues dealing with babies these days.
Today i was attending my moral studies and one of the most impressive presentation was done by Yi Lian and friends entitled Abortion...

Are u Pro Life or Pro Choice?

Pro Life:

make it simple- agree that abortion is inhumane and it contravenes with the society's moral value etc

Pro Choice:
make it simple- with the standpoint that abortion is acceptable as the mother has the right of her body and a so called "baby" in the fetus is actually just a tissue..so by killing them doesn't consider as taking off their(new life's) right etc...

Me:
was with a pro choice standpoint before this...and as a result of participating in debate when i was in my secondary school and by reading all articles and facts, i don't think it is an absolute wrong decision for abortion.

However....after looking at the presentation.... PRO LIFE please!

Few pictures...

Look at the baby's expression...

Did You Know?
The process of an abortion is to pull out parts and parts of body of the baby in the mom's womb and the last step is to smash up the head(brains and skulls etc) and pull it out...?
(forgive me as i don't really know how to use good terminologies to describe the process.)

My last post and this post are 2 really extreme cases...

Rare Situation In Life

Came across this article and i know its a rare case so i post this out to share.
Remembered years ago, in Malaysia, there is a women giving birth to 9babies but end up being a failure. However, this is unbelievable...

The cute hexaplet after the twins.
This mom gave birth to 2twin daughters and now another 6...

Isn't it cute?...
