Just some random updates since i am not working (due to fever) and i am boring staying home...

CHS held a mid autumn festival last saturday night for all schoolmates and so we were there to show our support...

Jia Ming(1 year back he was still shorter than me and now....sobz sobz), Me and Cheng Chun...

I'm not gonna comment on hows the food in Sakae, hows the movie in TGV nor hows the food in Murni.

Because i experienced all these with a bunch of Long Time No C frens which used to be my classmates, everything is just so perfect!

We shared so many things about life among each other. Just everything which pops up our mind. The best thing is that our topic in Look Out Point was mainly on Human Phsycology and Ghost Stories. Lolz...

But however nice is it,

Its definately not as nice as when u can watch the "Original" version i believe....cause Malaysia's version is a censored one. God Dam it!

What i learnt from this movie is that how important friendship is

and how important friendship can be in someones' life (provided your fren doesnt cheat on you obviously)

There are not much sex scenes, no worries...or perhaps there are but its just that Malaysia make it so "clean"...

HIGHLIGHT FOR THE WEEK

I finally get a chance to watch the RED CLIFF last week.

It was quite dull and boring at first, but when the first war begins,

everything are out...its so nice and those strategies they played were so impressive during the war. For a chinese ed guy like me, this history kinda movie is definately my cup of tea. Its much more better than the THREE KINGDOMS.And F.Y.I, the Red Cliff now showing in cinemas is only the PART 1 and it alredy take 2 1/2 hours.

I am waiting for PART 2!! Anyone knows when will it release?

Hey fren, today my post here is just to put on some updates of my life....
Well my whole weekend was busy with movies only. Wakaka....
Watched movie the whole week you know?! Siao o not.... but seriously not bad la...

Hancock..I love this movie. rating: 3.5/5

I insist watching this when my friends wanna go for movie despite being the fact that the 3D tickets are all sold out. We went for the 2D one and i said that 3D one i will go another time...but.....i don't think it is so...cause rating: 2.5/5

(I wouldn't say this movie is not good. Neither it is Awesome. Nothing really impressed me)

Last but not least, to me, its a must watch! HELLBOY! 4.5/5

Lately i was on an assignment under a so called "well known" manager.

Finally today i met her. Well i was kind off surprise that she's quite friendly and she is very CHOON on her technical knowledge towards audit.

I learnt two things:

1. Don't judge a person before u get a chance to know her

Another thing which i find it very true from her...

2. A partner wouldn't want their subordinate to tell them and rectify problems in the accounts. What they are interested is how are you going to solve the problems in the account.

You may think that she sound very bossy when she said this to us but i find it really very true. I guess this is why she is so successful and so determine in solving those issues because this is her principal.........

Thats all what i wanna share...

Haha!...lately though its already three months after my birthday but i still wanna thank two people who still take the trouble buy me my present. Firstly is my very very good good buddy Yin Wei from Singapore who courier a very meaningful and memorable present for me. Really love it and appreciate it!...thanks a lot dude.

Secondly is from my dearest sister who told me that she will buy me a pair of shoe for casual use and finally she got one for me. And this is it, from PUMA!...reli love it as well....

This is just an update of one of my busy days last week. Just got those photos from my very efficient friend"hui peng" and that is why i can post it now so early onto my blog instead of a year later. heehee...

Last saturday basically i had two birthday parties to attend. One is my sis's and another one is my senior, Alison's. Didn't wanna miss anyones' so end up i joined both but went to Alison's wan a bit later and not that long as well but was glad to meet up a whole bunch of Chinese Society Gangs...hehe...

This is the PBC Gang. All our secondary skol life have contributed to PBC and of course no one regret doing this. Nevertheless, we miss those days...

Ooo ya...one more update. We celebrated Yuet Chong's bday as well two three days after Alison's. It was a surprise bday party at Wong Kok...though it wasn't that surprise anyway... And you know what? We saw three different bunch of CHS people celebrating burfday at Wong Kok that day...haha....guess why?...cause we all will have a big big big free drink...and this is it....

So basically here is an update of the day we had our farewell celebration with our beloved friend, Lydia. We went to One U and we ended up at Wong Kok Char Chan Teng for HOURS......and we really discovered more about Lydia that day...lolz

Two weeks back, my friend tianwu read an article about this treasure hunt held by AWAM(A NGO@NPO) in conjunction with its 20th Annual Celebration. The deadline of submission for this treasure hunt is just one or two days after he read this article. So since we both finished our exams, he called me up and ask if i'm willing to participate with him. We went and check and we found out that there were not much team when we made a call to them the day before the deadline of submission and this drives us more crazy towards this competition as we wanted the cash prize RM3,000 for the grand prize winner. Nevertheless, Lucky draws given there were very attractive i.e

1. 2 Nokia N77
2. Few packages for free accomodation at various Berjaya Times Square Resort in various places 3. Some hampers etc

Today...The D&C team is ready to rawk!>.<>

Hence, this means the winning team is actually a regular participant of this treasure hunt event. They are a team of four. Four adults at their age of 40-50s... Very impressive. They scored 200/230..where as we score about 80/230...lolz...DONT LAUGH! Lowest score is 30/230....

We were quite disappointed anyway. Cause we didn't win a thing. Not even a lucky draw. lolz..But of course we are aware of the fact that our chance is very small..duh?!...But at least one Nokia N76 for our team...then we will trade in for CASH man!...wow! ...DREAM! haha...

Yea so basically thats all. Overall the event was quite a success. I didn't expected that they can run it that smoothly with so many people participating and i can assure that today their fund raising will be a success. Easily RM10k. Congrats to them>.<

After the whole thing. We went to took some pictures with the AR Asia Celeb Team. I am a big fan of Amazing Race Asia. Tianwu,Rolvilson,Pamela,me and Vanessa.

Let me tell you this. My friend didn't know that May was a participant for AR Season 2 so he asked her to be the photographer for the shot we took with the other celebs. A bit embarassing..But we still manage to snap one with her. She is the host for the day. A very good host for this kinda event. A very sporting mummy!....Love her!

The only thing we get from this race: a starbucks coupon. lolz...So we bought a drink and we get one free. i.e we bought one for RM6++....this can consider one of our rewards la...lolz...

Exhausting day. But will never forget that today is FATHERS DAY! HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
I spent quite some money today for the hunt as well as TWO FATHERS. Haha...See ya guys...

Ended my exam on Tuesday. I wouldn't say i did badly but neither i did really well. Time constraint. Watever..No point crying over spilt milk...Just have to get back on course on my daily working routine.

Ya..A bit frustrated when i came out the examination hall at 9pm and i was thiking. When i get home it will be about 10pm. Need to settles down rest a while only then next day i have to get back work. DONT I DESERVE MORE REST?!...I doubt so...

My first two days of work was really unproductive. Wasn't effective at all. I just don't have the mood. Hows everyone out there???

One more update: This is my ASB team. The first audit team i joined when i entered BDO. We had a dinner at Sazaki. Remembered?!...Yea...so here is to show you who are they:

Yea...i had a two weeks study leave and one week has gone!?
For the last 3 days of last week i was busy with debate again.
Went all the way to Cyberjaya and witness all the matches held there.

The feeling when i went back there... looking at the secondary debate competition's stage...
It was like...oh! its 2 years di...I miss those days! I wanna be on that stage again! I really do.
But too bad..i am leading a very different kinda lifestyle now and this doesnt allow me to continue with debate despite knowing that SUnway Uni College is actually participating in the InterVarasity Debate Competition competing against all the univerisities in Malaysia!
Argh!!! I want!...If only i have 48 hours a day.

YEa...went back there...met up alot of old friends from other states as well as some new friends...

Yin Wei...MY best friend during the year 2006 debate competition. He is the best speaker for that year and he is a genius!

Another one is Yu Ling...She's still in the debate team but this year will be her last year. THough....but still wish her all da bez n her dreams to come true. The other gal on the right is my teammate in year 2006 and she is now leading the CHS team as well with others...haha

Few weeks before i did mention that my house had a small celebration for my aunt's 60th burfday?!...and yea...here are some photos took that day.

Went to met up two of my very good but long time no see friends since i have a study leave for two weeks. We went for a so called ghost movie. But it was lame! Korean ones....We laughed all the time...

Then of course we'd spend out day chit chatting and we found ourselves a place- Sakae Sushi
Well its my first time stepping into a Sushi Restaurant. I discovered alot of things(which i found it new for me, but of course not for u all) but lets not get there or you will laugh at me.

Just concentrate on me and my buddies. Yea we went in...plan not to eat that much and just chat. Oh yea..FYI, three of us are former prefects in our secondary school and guess what? WHen we step in...we saw our Prefect board seniors...wat a coincident....

Met some frens in college yesterday and came to know that their current semester is pretty tough. I would have fail one of the paper if i m taking ACCA Part 2 now. They say we were lucky yo have this route and taking audit now. But we say...WE WILL SUFFER LATER!!!

Hey guys...long time no see! I din update this blog that often because i was really busy lately and lately most of the time (if i have some time), i write on my new blog. I can express more with chinese lolz...i noe most of you hate listening to this ( especially people like carmen, david etc )

4th of May:- CHS Debate Finals
So lucky that on that day we had no classes on and i get to go back to CHS and witness the finals though its CHS team versus CHS team. Nothing much to say but anyhow i hope they can get into finals in the national level and be more hardworking and less complacent. God bless them.

Oh yea..met up some long time no see teachers and frens and unlce(Leping's dad) and judges... get to chat with them and i just realise that Uncle Koay's company is actually BDO's client.. THe world is just so small! wow!

5th to 9th of May

Nothing much special actually. I started a new job on my own with another AA but we consider working separeately cause i was in charge of the balance sheet part and he does the income statement. I learnt alot but at the same time i don't really like working with him. Sorry to say that. Gosh..till now though we both are pulled out from this job and has another job on hand but for this particular job the rest are all done by me. He like totally TAK KanCheong at all! Is ok... at least i know i learn and i will gain by doing it....

10th to 11th of May

Back to school. Everyone was so tired and has got no mood to start class except Jin Jar i guess?! When we were back, we got our results. Thank god we all pass and this time i am in the middle as well..ranking number 3/6( same as the first test)...I don't see myself doing good though there is an improvement but i really expected better especially this is a paper we've done before in CAT...but....

Okie...something funny to share here...i get very close with one of my classmates lately, Ms Kamini. We both sit together everytime in class and we CRAP all day long...and Mr Ong loves to use this phrase: "There are some chemistries happening over there!"...lolz...We both just laugh ....but yea...just friends...wonder who she is?!...look at this.....

10th of May night

Its david's burfday and we, the group of people arranged a surprise burfday party for him...

He was really happy. We(david, arthur, zhong loon, teo, collin, julius, denny) just went out for dinner and had a long chat...It was fun....

12th of May till 16th of May
I started my new job with one of the senior who i knew him since i entered into BDO. A very nice guy and he is very hardworking and willing to teach and share before i even work with him.

This time we both have to handle 3 companies(though its not listed but hectic job) in 2 weeks as both of us will begin our study leave after 2 weeks @ 25th May. It was a rush and we asked for a trainee and wish granted.

For my pass one whole week i have been working from 830 till 1-2am. Yes it was tiring. He didn't force me to do so but since we've got targets and deadline to meet i don't mind staying late up and finish it. I felt really exhausted whenever i reach home but what i like about this job is he lets me handle 2 companies totally on my own. I get to do all parts of the accounts and he handles the holding company himself. Anything i don't understand i consult him. Its a very nice working environment and i really learnt alot! Yohoo!!!

Oh yea...we were supposed to have training for new employees from 14-16May and we shall be exempted from audit jobs but i was the only one who skipped training. (No No No...Philip as well but he is leaving us soon so nevermind la) Cause my job is really rush. Got the approval from manager. I was nervous at first cause i scared i will miss alot...but luckily they didnt really teach much and all of them we learnt it in college. So basically its just a revision.

BEST NITE: 15th May

We all went to SAISAKI in WISMA UOA for buffet dinner. JAPANESE BUFFET. This is the only day we get to leave clients place early at 6pm and headed towards Wisma UOA. My previous job's Manager BELANJA us...So nice...So relaxing and it was fun. Photo will be updated once i get it from my seniors....

Of course after the buffet...me and tse khim went back office and continue work till 1am again! haha...typical auditors' life....

Celebrating Excellence!

The day before yesterday, we were invited to a special dinner held by ICAEW Malaysia

which they called it a night of "Celebrating Excellence"

It is mainly some sort of graduation night for the first batch of ICAEW students and also giving out an award to one of our senior colleague who was awarded a WORLD PRIZE in her audit assurance paper.

The dinner was held in WESTIN. Wow! Sounds nice isn't it? We were so excited!

We reached there about 7.15pm and it should be started at about 7.30 pm

but as usual, VVIPs are always late. And you know who is the VVIP for the night?!

MR TONY FERNANDEZ!

Back to this first, we had our cocktail served right outside the ballroom.

They serve wine, champaigns, fruit juices etc and when we were there, there were not much people so we thought, u know??? ICAEW...not many people taking it so its a small dinner...

And as time strikes about 8...we start to realise the crowd! So packed. And we, the MEOW MEOW (CAT) students actually didn't really know what to do?..

We knew we were suppose to socialise out there but .... we just don't know how to make the first move cause they are all the high rank people.

People from all firms, from CIMB and other financial institutions etc.

ANyhow, some of them were quite friendly.

Some people from PwC came to us and we start chatting.

As well as CIMB's associate director...

We waited waited and waited and the dinner finally starts at about 9pm

This is the grand ballroom. Very nice and well decorated. and do you know how much they pay per table? 2k! Gosh!..but the food was really awesome! I can't afford to list all the names of the food here as they have all sorts of wierd and long long names but it was really really nice!

We chose to sit with out future classmates and they were really friendly AND FUNNY!?

We were so lucky to choose that table compared to another bunch of colleague where those people sitting on the same table didn't even talk to them at all! fiuh.....

One more thing i would like to highlight:

MR TONY FERNANDEZ

started his speech at about 930? and ends it about 1030.

It was a long long speech but definately not a boring one.

He is so down to earth. He did not wear any suits or coat or tuxedo like others.

Not branded stuff but just a simple shirt and pants and of course,

his AIR ASIA CAP!

WAT DE????????

FRENS!? : Now only i realised that my actual birthdate is on the 14th of APRIL!

ARgh!!!! I have been celebrating the wrong birthdate for 17 years?!!!

So me and my family went to a restaurant and had our dinner!

At Sunway Pyramid!?>.<

The restaurant is the second branch where they actually have another one in Puchong which had commenced its business since two years ago.

I like the restaurant here. Very quiet and has got nice nice decorations. Very calm and quiet feeling. Good for family dining.

They've got lots of Siddharta's (Buddha's) Potrait hanging all around. My mom loves it!

So now, we proceed to food!!!

Yummy! The price here...i can't eat by myself. But despite not that cheap, but the portion is big. So its quite reasonable! Its very suitable for people who are very very freaking hungry. U will definately feel full after having their meals.

My Kambing Bumbu... as stated, its Lamb...very nice! Their Kangkung is nice, sambal is nice and lamb is dam nice! and they've lots of lamb meat in it!? Not like those kiamsap restaurant where u pay for a lamb rice dish, the lamb is just so little!? The lamb here they provided is more than the rice! Awesome!

My sis's dish! Western food as usual....

Saw that dish?!...Its nasi campur ole ole. U will find squid, dorry fish, prawns, veges and chicken in it. And can u guys see the few sticks on the bottom right hand corner of the pic? Its Sate LILIT! So nice!? I Love it!!! Try it!!! Sorry to say we finish it too fast so i don't get a chance to show u guys what isit.! But trust me! NICE!

We wanted to try some desserts but hehe...wierd Balinese dessert, tak NGAM us...so we were about to leave. However...

PC Fair...

Went to PC Fair yesterday with Tianwu. Oh my gosh it was so packed and the fair was so big...three levels i guess?!...i m just lost...

Anyway just went there for external hardisk. Bought 5!..one for me...others for frens and the price was definately much more resonable than what we can get outside the fair.

One thing i don't like but i learnt:

Walk and visit all stalls for price quotation on the things u r looking for. Don't just buy after visiting one or two stalls. They're cheaper ones behind.

I visited 5 stalls at first and the price for an 80GB hardisk was at 175-179.

I was eventually quite lost lately. Two days in a row where I ended up going back home at 1am which means I spent my whole day , approximately 17hours or more than that in my office. Today will be my third day. And I was told that we have to stay back as well. Well, since I am aware of that, I wouldn’t say much nor giving out any complaints.

Its like this:

Basically, during the first day of staying late in office, especially that late was quite fun and get a bit excited. Anyhow…SEcond day...when the clock strikes at 10pm. I was like…UH! When can I go home? I miss my bed…I miss my time watching dramas, chatting on MSN, relaxing, or maybe going out with friends or maybe joining my high school mates for discussions. All the negativities started bothering me.

“Am I going to take this? 5 years long leh! I am now only working for two/three days overtime which requires me to stay up till 1am and continue the daily routine the next early morning. I am already complaining…am I really prepared to stay with it?” I doubt so. I was really frustrated.

This morning, I was a bit late to work. Didn’t bother sitting dad’s car. Rather take bus so I can wake up 30 minutes later.

Anyhow, the questions above can all be answered after reading some articles and having a meeting.

“I am going to stay and I am going to stay with it!”

I was quite wierd lately cause i started reading all my Forwarded emails from all sorts of people. Cause i normally ignore everything. Maybe i was really tired and feel bored at times so since i don't have any other source of entertainments, i chose to read emails. But now i really know the benefits of reading it especially from one of my senior Wei Hoong. He had a chat with me lately just using email and i start reading all articles he sent me.

This is what he said to me in his email(last paragragh):-
Mark my words, you will never regret once you get your qualification at the end. You will be reward handsomely for the rest of your career life. Work hard and study hard. Do not think too much.

This is one of the article he shared with me about Stephen Covey. - 90/10 Principle
What is this principle? 10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react.What does this mean? We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic.We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.

I couldn't afford to paste the whole article here cause its long but i can assure you, you will benefit from reading it. Go click on Principle 90/10 by Stephen Covey and you'll get everything.

But the conclusion is:
Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle.It CAN change your life!

So now i know all these frustration that i have and that can make me give up this route is actually my way of reaction that can be controlled. So as i still wanna lead this life i shall be happy and stay with it! Yo!

Watched THREE KINGDOMS with my bunch of friends just now...

Before that, there are some feedbacks i received that the movie wasn't that nice and the story line was complicated...so i didn't really have high expectations on this movie.
But to me, Andy Lau's movie wouldn't be that bad.

After the movie, i won't say its a really good@ awesome and a "must watch" movie.

But i think its not bad. Recommended to those who likes chinese and can understand the Ching Dynasty's Chinese phrases very well.. somehow the storyline wasn't complicated at all.

But as compared to "MUO GONG", another Historical Movie cast by Andy Lau, that one is definately better compared to this one...hehe

时间还多得很....

找了添武和宝丽(MONASH 朋友) 吃个午餐..."实在太饿(当时)"

后(现在), 自己一个人来到了一间咖啡厅...等朋友之于上上网....

和很多朋友开始聊起了...

这种宁静....有点象是无忧无虑的环境真的很爽!....

I am not a fan of death note. Not that i don't like but somehow it doesn't attracts me at all.

So i actually didn't watch any of the first two movies of death note.

Somehow yesterday, my bunch of high school friends, they wanted to watch this. So just follow. I seriously didn't put any high expectations on this movie

But somehow i was WoWed by the way the story line goes and they way they direct the movie!

Its really awesome. I didn't know Japanese Movie can be so AWESOME!

I just love it. I can say its so far one of the best movie i ever watch lately.

So how was my MPH stocktake?!...-NOt satisfying:(

This morning me and my senior, Sherry were quite excited. We both reach out client's place at aout 8.10am. We went to look for the person in charge Barbara and she briefed us. And at about 8.30am we were brought to the respective places.

They have 2 warehouses of BOOKS. Just Books.

For people like David, Carmen etc i think u guys don't mind spending your whole day here. Cause there are really lots of books here. As long as books u can find in any MPH outlets, you can find one here...you guys can just simply use up all your time here just for reading...just too bad that we cannot take it and read. We were asked to OBSERVE the whole process.

What?!...observe people count from 8-7.30 pm?! CRAZY!!!!!!!!
This is one of the things i ve done for the day...play with rubber bands in the office. It was really boring...We have nothing to do...why?...

Basically its like this. As an auditor, we are not expected to count all stocks in it as this is our client's job not us. Hence, we are just asked to do some test checkings after their staffs have finish counting a shelve of books. However, we need not count all shelves that have been counted. We just need to pick a shelve randomly and inside that particular shelve, there are thousands of books and we just need to pick a book and count the total quantity of that particular book. So basically our job for the whole morning was just to wait for our client's staff to count. Just wait. Oh yea, we did observe la...we went to every counter and make sure all of them did the same procedure..tagging...labeling...scan the bar code...count accordingly etc... but this doesnt take a long time...so basically our job for the day is to WAIT! as today is their first day of counting so...yea..WAit till they finish counting..we choose some samples and we have to WAIT again..Wait for their system to print out a copy of the record and we tele it with the record we have on hand...thats all...

Yea..so basically thats all. Now i understand why auditors hate stocktaking...

Well, i won't say i hate it but it depends. Like what my senior mention, actually our job can be done in just few hours time and we no need to be here the whole day from 8-7...we shall come in after lunch or somehow not that early cause things are not counted so samples are not ready...

Another thing quoted from another of my colleague Zhe Quan, hehe...if our stocktake is to count gold and diamonds...regardless how dull is the job he'll still go...hehe..how materialistic!

Oh yea..now envy my other colleague...she is doing a stock count for PATCHI...

"Can see can count but cannot eat!"...so wat for? hehe

Today is my dad's birthday and as usual, we'll definately have dinner together and celebrate together in a family. And not to forget my mom is giving us a treat so...hehehe...anyhow she brought us to a place in KL(Jln Changkat Raja Chulan i guess?) to enjoy our dinner with only PORK!? wow....and this so called PORK-ONLY dining place is called the ElCerdo opened by a greek spanish man. The business here is really F***ing good. They can easily reach RM20,000 per night. Well, better not crap so much. Straight to the point....

One thing i like about this restaurant is the creativivity of its decorations.

Firstly, the door has got a PIGalisa (their edition of Monalisa) picture....

Isn't it adorable? and funny?..i just simply like this the most...

Then, there are lots and lots of things hanging around, displayed all over the restaurant which are all related to pigs...

And EVEN TOILETS!!! ITs just like TOILET for PIGS...

The meal starts...they served us Borsch soup as appetizer...my first time trying Borsch soup with PORK!...delicous but its a very small portion. Not ENOUGH!!!

My favourite...will never fail ordering pasta-choice of carbonara everytime when i dine in western restaurants...

Basically i just manage to take these few pics of the food we ordered. Just glad that i made the right decision to order at least a spaghetti..i.e a NON PORK dish...else, i really feel like vomiting for having 4 PORK dishes...regardless how nice the PORK is going to be...

One more thing very creative. Just nice there are a few tables who are also celebrating birthdays and i just love the way they celebrate for their customers. Not to say that i am boring with the current job routine i am facing everyday but i just wan some new stuff?!...

Few weeks ago my senior Shih Peng asked me if i want to try on stocktake. Job for another senior. (She knew i wanna try new stuff so she asked me) I immediately said yes without hesitating. Anyhow end up her reply was the senior might not want me cause i am still fresh or perhaps see how later...

This morning, they need crew for tomorrow's stocktake(same job as well) and my senior just dump me in! He he...she granted my wish!? Love her...kekeke...

I am doing stocktake for MPH! WOw! Awesome!>.<

(But of course not MPH outlets in shopping malls...i somehow wish i can be chart to those places but if u were that lucky, do you know what time is the stock take?...10pm-7am. Anyhow it'll be a great experience though)

I am just so excited and couldn't wait for tomorrow.

But...come think over it...

I will be at the MPH Warehouse...which means i need to face BOOOKSSSSS from 8am till 7pm.

Will i go crazy?!...

Today after graduation ceremony.. I was dragged to MEDAN to join the other 10 people for CS.

Wow...! Surprise leh?!..Yea..i was also shocked that i actually joined.

Few Hours ago:.... Everyone were deciding on where to go for activities after graduation...

after all the chats etc...some decided to go home...some decided to go for movie and this bunch- CS... and ask me join. I said NO! at first...but they BETRAYER Yee Piao at last say wan join them so....Oh yea, and EDGAR kept on ask me go try go try go try....so end up..

WHY NOT GIVE A TRY!?

So went in...i joined Edgar's team.Ah For sure in the first place..he very nervous to have me as his teammate but no choice..he called me there...hehe...

And really...i have the most death rate... Die very fast...lolz...

but i still manage to KILL people la...and gain some points though not much...

Gradutaion Day!!!!

I'm proud to announce that today i had my very first Graduation Day in life as i've accomplished my CAT(a.k.a Certified Accounting Technician) programme in Sunway.

The gradutaion ceremony was held in Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre and we were asked to reach there by 730am for rehearsal etc HOWEVER everything starts only at 930am...gosh!

Cut off all the complaints...this shud be a happy and joyful post...hehe....

This is my mom and dad. They insist to attend and witness the ceremony though most of the CAT graduates' parents didn't appear cause this is not the one and only. They'll only attend the final one..ACCA graduation...and not to mention...its somehow not worth it in out opinion because it guest will have to pay RM90 per admittance>.<

To me, this ceremony is somehow very meaningful and will be memorable cause i won't be graduating with the same bunch of coursemates which will pursue their ACCA studies and graduate in 2 yrs time where as i will be taking another path...the ICAEW...:(

SO this is KAmini...the one who chose the same road as i do...to take on the ICAEW course..

I am sorry for not updating my blog lately. I had a very busy life. Don't really have much time to do this and yet nothing much interesting about my life...i find my working life interesting but nothing to blog about la...

Yesterday Sunway held a ACCA Social Gathering in MPH. Can we?...the future ICAEWians join?
Who cares? 5 of us from BDO just left office at 5.30 pm sharp and get ready to head towards our college, Sunway college...and attend the so call Social Gathering but for me it was some sort of reunion where i can meet lots and lots of people here...people i miss...my friends, my lecturers...

I reached a bit late...but who cares? My intention was not to attend and see performance but to meet my friends. keke.... and i finally manage to see all the FACES i use to see almost everyday last year but now....no more...

After food, (i didn't eat much)...we were busy looking for our lecturers first and there they are:

Hey i m back with this post: Well for the past weeks i was working at the same client's office from day till night at Shah Alam. My only complain about that place was the FOOD! its an industrial area so you coudln't expect any shop lots with restaurants nor even a cafe. Only CANTEEN food... and the food was....speechless...

My senior told me i would have to stay at that place for one more month and i was like...GOSH!
and finally due to some arrangement problems, i was brought to another client's place yesterday for field work and for the coming 2 or 3 days starting on Monday.

Heard of CROWN REGENCY SERVICe Apartment? Yea i work there lately... well complain about food here also. THere are night clubs all around the area so u can hardly see an open stall during the day and when we want to have our meals, we gotta walk some distance and there are only places like coffee bean, modestos cafe or secret recipe!...wakaka...gosh! so expensive isn't it? hehe...

Lets not talk about work anymore...well i just wacthed a movie GAME PLAN lately...not bad! Both The Rock and the small little girl's acting was impressive... Some people find it lame...but for me, after whole day of work, when u can relax, watch a movie and there are alot of funny parts in the movie which can make u laugh?!...thats good!...yeah!

Audit

Well i m here with another post of my working life.

After few days of Stat audit, i m now given a chance to Audit some companies... of course not big corporate companies. Well audit is not as easy as wat we've learned in Paper8. This tells me something. . . In the real working life things are not as easy as wat i've expected. U think u pass audit in class and acca exams??(but b4 this u gotta know the fact that passing audit is very hard for everyone of us) but u'll fail when u start doing audit!? I really duuno what to do!!!

I spent my whole day yesterday from 9am to 630 pm just to audit Fix Asset and yet when i left client's place i still haven finish auditing fix asset and i have tonnes of accounts to audit...awh.....

But some of my seniors said : "u r so 'lucky' to have a company with fixed assets" get the point?
but i really sound silly cause i have to ask and ask almost every 10 minutes....lolz...

I heard that the acca classes were quite fun. Law is interesting. Today there's a partime class for us from 9am tp 830 pm...i wanted to go but the timetable shocked me....haha

Statutory Audit

This is basically my first time listening to this term though i've been studying audit last semester. - Statutory Audit

Finally, today i have got something to do and i was sent out to my client's office with 3 other team mates to do Stat Audit.

This is basically an audit procedure before an audit takes place, where auditors have to go through all Secretarial Files, Book of Minutes and Book of Register. . . . It works like a PAF (Permanent Audit File) where we have to extract meeting minutes, annual return, issued share capital etc...

It was a bit tidous for me during my first two companies...but as i went on slowly, everything comes on smoothly...manage to finish 5 clients today where others are only done with 3 clients...hehe.... wakaka....

However, working at client's place = u can't go home on time. We left client's place at 630pm.

Client's office is very well designed and its a nice place. And it was really cool...we all shivered throughout the day...

ONe thing true is dat all clients hate auditors.
"You all auditors a?"
"When u all finish?"
"Tomorrow not coming rite?"
"Don't touch this a?!"
hehe.... why are we so "not welcome?" just stat audit only wat...gotta go now. got work to do.

Today is my first day working as an Audit Associate in BDO BINDER.

Well today what we did was basically some simple orientation session by some HR Staffs.
The SyUCians are the only one who are so call the undergrads... My goodness..and we are expected to have certain technical competance...shit! Our audit sux u noe? but luckily Karmini approached one of the official and told them our situation...at least not that bad.

Where shall i start with?
Erm...basically there are few things shocked me.
1. Staffs here are basically females...i supposed 80% of them
2. The common language used is Chinese.
3. Audit department is very messy

Guess what? I have no work to do the whole day. Just day dreaming.
We were all assigned jobs and seniors. Everyone is seperated. but only me?!...i got partner which is my classmate Philip. We are in charge of the ASB HOTELS...anyone knows wat is this?
I'll noe it by tomorrow.

Seniors are not around. Outstation. So no work. So we went to open a bank account in Public Bank for salary purposes. Guess wat? I m not eligible for the normal saving account!!!! They say i m underage so i gotta take the WISE account...for childrens one...wat a humiliation for someone who is now an employed guy!!! arghhhh!!!!

When i was back, my notebook was ready and thank god now i got something to do... online read some news, check mail and wait until 530 comes. Then balik rumah...

well i really hope we get some assignments to take charge starting tomoro?!...

Well though Christmas is already over but i'm here with this post about christmas.
On that day, we had a gathering for all X CHS PBC members in one of my friend's house.
We had a BBQ and Steamboat Party.... We prepared the food and it was really nice and delicious but due to the fact that almost 10 of them PUT AEROPLANE in the last minute, we have lots of unfinished food...lolz..

Right after dinner etc, we headed to the Fourth Floor (so u can imagine how big is this house rite?) for our entertainment...Sing K, Play Poker, Play Nami, Mahjong, Chit Chat etc....

Was really busy lately. Coming back with this post. It was last Friday i think. We went to NTV "Shi Fen Hong"(direct translate as VERY FAMOUS) concert.

ICAEW vs ACCA

Last week Sunway called up and inform me that there's an offer of the programme called ICAEW and they're recruiting some people... I think they called out around 20++ but as to what i know most of them didn't turn up. This morning i went for the seminar. Only about 12 people.

ICAEW (a.k.a Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) is the World most well known and prestigous accounting professional body compared to ACCA when i went on9 to check up for some information. But what they offer is abit different. ICAEW stresses on practical training and gaining experience while studying.

So today, two firms, the BDO Binder(One of the Big 5 they called themsleves, a growing consultancy firm with very down to earth staffs and employers) and Deliotte (One of the Best Firm also) gave their seminar and talk.

Basically both firm works the same. Starting next year, we are employed by one of these two firms as an employee. And most probably we will start with Auditing. Normal working days 9-5pm with a monthly salary (not bad the pay for us "undergraduate") and there's definately overtime at the peak period. Make it short, we are treated equally as compared to the normal employees. We can't skip our work, however we have benefits as well. Bonuses, remuneration increament, paid study leave, annual leave etc...

Well the toughest part is that we will have to study on our own during the weekdays after work and our classes will be conducted by sunway as well on the weekends. So basically its really pack and it will be stressful!well, instead of saying its stressful i would say its challenging and interesting as i have this opportunity to get expose to the real accounting world outside...

ICAEW has got two stages i.e the professional stage and the final stage, each consist of 12 and 3 papers. As for CAT students we are given an exemption of 5 papers. That means we will have 5 years time to finish 15 papers. Where the last paper at the final stage can only be completed at the last year of our contract because it is mainly case study.

People might think isnt it a waste that i have to re take a 5 yrs programme? Well, its basically yhe same. ICAEW, in 5 years i can be a CA..but for ACCA, after 2 yrs, i must have 3 yrs working experience b4 CA.

Of course there are Pros and Cons hanging around my mind and each of our thoughts.

BDO have got another special offer that we could take up the job one month for a try and if we really choose to give up, they don't mind letting us back to ACCA.

I (some of us)have decided to take up this job. I know that the only way to succeed is not to look back when i have made this decision and be committed to what i have decided.

The only thing i miss is my current class and some of my lecturers who will be teaching me next year, supposedly....if i don't fail my CAT, or if there's nothing bad happened to me, i think i will gotta say bye to u all!...muax!...love u guys...esp CAT Group3!...the amount is getting lesser....

it was really memorable and fantastic.

Well i have 2 more papers to go which will be on Monday and Tuesday then i will be off for 2 weeks holiday!!! 2 weeks only u noe? thats so cruel!!

Firstly, i was wondering if this was a good or bad sign.

Its Friday now. I have not been really studying. Going out since Wednesday till today. Gosh!

I wasn't that nervous for these two papers. . . maybe not as much as compared to Paper 7

I noe audit will gonna be tough but i just couldnt study it so early.

So i studied TAX and my fren was like...Wat? eveyone is going for Audit and u go for Tax?

Crazy they said...

haiz...i dunno? but of coz my weekend will be for audit la..last minute preparation.

And now i m dreaming of wat i'm gonna do after my finals. Probably find a job? keke..

too early to think of it adi isit? lolz...

but my dream: i really dreamt about it!

I will be facing my finals tomorrow.
I am really frustrated right now.
I couldn't concentrate.

I was distracted by lots of stuff. There are lots of things bothering me and i can't keep my thoughts from thinking all this freaking stuffs!

As a conclusion I am not prepared still.

however at this point, i received a sms wishing me all the best. Asking me to do my best and let god take the rest. It was really touching.

One Week Holiday...

Well i had a one week holiday last week.

Was it productive? Yes i would say so but not productive in the means of Studies.
I totally neglected my studies and i was really scared as i heard that most of my classmates were at Library from morning till night everyday last week and Corey Chan was at home only studying Paper6...lolz..

As usual i spent my time for my junior's debate competition.. as this was their semifinal..we really hope they both can make it into the finals..and i was really happy that all of our dreams came true.. they won the match...and my sister received very good feedback..so proud of her...hehe It Runs in the Family...but i think she is better?!...

And for my weekends i wasnt free..need to go to Ai Fm...

Conclusion:
i had a very pack holiday week..next week no more debate! since they both made it into finals..they're on their own! thank god.. Tax Edc is coming...i really hope i will fully utilise my whole week before exam productively!...Good luck

Ai Fm Invitation...

As i have mentioned, i was invited to Angkasapuri by Radio Station Ai Fm for a programme regarding some current issue. I was really nervous when i first receive the call as i know among the three guests, they are all Adults and i am the only teenager...and there will be more than 100 audiences...

reached Auditorium P Ramlee this morning and i saw the chairs there...so nervous..

thank god i felt really better after being invited up onto the stage..

We had a 2hours talk...and this is the photo with Ai Fm crew..glad to know them all..really friendly..at least the DJ are teenagers..so kinda easy to mix with

After that..we went to the Recording room...

Something really embarassing happened..I thought it was a Live Programme which will be aired on air simaltaneously so some of friends who knew about it and my family members were waiting in front of the radio from 11-1pm and they can't hear a thing..and once finished i received so many smses...and when i checked i realised its a recording event and they'll only release it on air after editing...sorry man!

My dream...CHina!

If you ask me among all the countries in the World, which one is the one that i want to visit, i will definately answer CHINA without hesitating.. I just don't know why somehow in someway it attracts me..since i was in Form 1.. i wanted to go to BEIJING...visit TIAN AN MEN, ZI JING CHENG, Shanghai, JIU ZAI GOU etc etc...

Yesterday my grandma was back from her 3 weeks trip to CHina again and this time she visited places i have never heard off but really looks and sounds interesting...have you guys heard off TU LOU? ZHANG JIA JIE? She herself don't even realise the existence of ZHANG JIA JIE until she visited that place and what was so attractive is the scenery..

This place, ZHANG JIA JIE simply means the ZHANG Family's Boundary in Hunan which was isolated from the society...This is not a well developed place where u can find commercial buildings etc..but just a place for you to walk, climb and enjoy the nature of the place and it sounds really interesting for me...

I am fear of heights but if i were to be given a chance i will still climb this high and enjoy the scenery here..my gosh! so nice isn't it!

Come on..somehow somedays in future i will go CHina and travel on my own...! wakaka..
my dad and mom have been to CHina b4 so i dont think they wanna do so again..and my sister? She only favours Western Countries..furthermore some places in CHina sounds boring for her..
so wat else more besides going on my own?!..or maybe with a bunch of friends who also love

There is a new act published lately by the government to fine RM300 to those who refuse using bridge and cross the road...

Yesterday as i was walking back home, i saw 5 police cars and around 10 police officers standing in the petaling street..if u notice the picture above, at the left hand side of the place, there is a bridge and at that time those who are observant and saw the police officer, they quickly used the bridge but there are still some who are so blur and crossed the road blindly moreover walked pass the police officers.. i saw few of them were caught and was bargaining...one women cried.. and at that time, there are reporters over there taking photos and videos..

SO friend, if u ever come across bridges, use it! DOn't make yourself pay for RM300!

I had my second accident today at Sunway!

Different case but what was similar was that my car was totally fine but the Uncle's car a bit Kemek! Shit!

Anyhow this didn't ruined my plan and i continued my day and watched BEE MOVIE!
This was a really nice movie! it cheers me up!
and i love this particular phrase said by the BEE:
"I'll make them, human beings pay royalty for saying: 'Honey! I'm back home!' "

One more thing to share..i am not a science class student so it is not funny if i don't know this? (i guess most of the science students knew it?)

I wrote some notes, 2 pieces of paper long but using the same blue ink pen!
I left the notes in the car on top of the steering facing the sun...
When i reached home and i discovered the piece of paper on top, the ink faded?!..
turned from blue to black! anyone know why? lolz...

We're now back for our Audit Class! Just one thing to share here!
We got back our Audit Mock Exam results and it was really shocking!
ONLY 14 out of 120+ students passed the exam....
Gracias to god that i am one of them but it was just a mere pass..haiz..

I looked through the model answer and i was like: "wat?"
ANyhow this kinda theory paper is hard! gotta work something towards it!

Have been really busy lately.. but not with studies.. right after my EDC for PAper 6..i had a break for both Thursday and Friday... and Friday onwards i was with all my juniors again.. preparing for their competition.. i din sleep for 24 hours..choon not?
from Friday 4pm i headed towards my high skol till now 6pm(SAT) after the comp..
so exhausted...but they won the first match..whether or not the following ones they'll still survive? i doubt so but i hope they do as their opponents are all independent school.

Well last week our EDC EFC was really fun. And we finally had our First ever Class Photo with Jana and this will also be the last..hehe.. miss the way he teach.. fun learning way yet easy to absorb...

I am just so unlucky today! Don't know whats wrong with me!

I went out to find my friend just now and on my way there...i was driving

I was at the traffic light. Very bad traffic so there is a long queue.. i was at the back of a very old Merce waiting for the green light...doing nothing...but yea..maybe wondering...doing some "night" dreaming... Suddenly i just don't know why i left my leg up from the break pedal and BANG! i knock onto the Merce...

It wasn't a HARDCORE bang onto the car cause both of our car's distance are very near.. However the Merce's got some crack wherelse my car got no scrathes...NOTHING!

Uncle came down and look very fierce.
I was nervous and i went down and i know i got to act a bit cause it was really my fault.
He scolded me and i just kept saying sorry and showing him that i was really sorry and i asked him so what can i do...and as u know...

Uncle: what to do? COmpensate la? wat else can u do for me?
COrey boy: How much u want?
Uncle: At least RM 50...

sweat...RM50? though i have more than 50 in my wallet but NO WAY! that small little crack doesn't cost that much i know but i was stupid to give such and offer(according to my friend)

THis time i was really nervous..worse than the accident happened previously.. i quickly locked my car and start my engine...step on the accelerator hinting i wanna leave and i drove off... they followed behind at first and when i turn into another junction they went off...

wow! i think i've not been blogging since last two weeks....though i am back but sorry to say its still something relating with my exams! Just can't held myself pouring all these frustrations out!

Today was my second day of MOCK...first day's paper was 50:50..i was happy for the first two questions that was tested. It was totally the same version as my past year questions that i've tried out during the weekends...i tried 4 questions in total and two came out exactly the same hehe... but for the last two questions, basically thoery...i knew it was a past year question too but i skipped to i just crap with all my own words...nothing much to say for Monday's paper but...

TODAY! I bet most of us...i mean most of my friends were frustrated with this costing paper!
And most of us couldn't finish it on time. I left 15% blank due to the fact i wasted too much of my time figuring the answer for the first question.

When i look through the first 40% question i was stucked! Then second...ok i managed to do it. I was stucked again for the third one so i end up completing question 2 and 4 which are basically theory questions. What i meant is that i manage to CRAP but not ANSWERING it accordingly... for e.g it was asking for COST REDUCTION ANALYSIS and COST CONTROL'S difference...i only gave definition but not giving the distinguishing point. SHIT!

The fact that why i was so frus is because what i've studied and expected to come out was not in the paper!!!!! We all thought that those chapters which have not been examined will come out so we studied INdices, CVP Analysis, Benchmarking, Forecasting(memorizing the freaking steps of seasonal variation in order to make a sales estimation) but end up not even a Sub Part of question tested all these! Wasted our effort....Arghhhhhhh!!!!

One of my friend even shouted F*** right after the exam in the Multi Purpose Hall in front of 500++ students...but not everyone heard him la...lolz...

God please bless us for Audit and Tax!

Time is running so fast.
Just got a shock that we actually finish our Paper 6 lectures for the semester today.
This week will be the last week for all paper's lecture.
Next week will be our mock and we'll have our study leaves.
Besides the November Revision classes, we are all on our own.
Gotta prepare for December's UK exam.
And soon i'll be a CAT graduate.

Just a short post. Well i couldn't find anytime for movie lately especially chinese movies. I was so scared that i would miss out any of these...

However today i've got this opportunity. My cousins from Ipoh came down. And of course i wouldn't abandon them and study alone rite? so wen out withem and we had our movie marathon... watched two movies in a row without even having our dinner. Ate cinema snacks.

Well today's tax class was kinda fun cause we were looking at tax administration and all penalties that exists in Malaysia. After this, i came across an article about the same thing. It is a case. Some of my friends will say this: "Wait. Brb. Facebooking" "Wait. Someone just bite me!gtg"

Ya..this is mainly the Facebook's homepage. It is another network thingy for teens like us to hang out and chit chat. Something like friendster. But when i say this, someone/most of them will shoot me: "Its different! Facebook is betta ok?"
What is that so fun? Ya..it has got alot of new features in it. All sort of games i.e Counter Strike, War Book etc. You can even Superpoke, slap, Bite, Throw a sheep, Hug, SPank or do whatever u wanna do to ur friend in it.

Well i would say its fun at the first time and especially when i saw my homepage there are notices like:

And now i find it irritating is whenever i log into my homepage, i got 20 over notification asking me to add applications... Argh! ! ! ! it takes time and it alwiz makes my computer hang GEI half way...sorry guys if i ignore ur request!..

However it is, i will still use it la in order for me to keep track with my friends in overseas as people overseas loves FB..but not that crazy for it like what my other friend was doing..

Today in my college, there is a new booth up for promoting CIBA Vision's Contact Lens.

We were at first not interested at all. Walk by the booth look look then go makan di. Suddenly Andrea Ma the Big sister(who said i will just watch Ee Leen joining the thingy) asked Ee Leen to give a try...then dunno what happen in a sudden everyone joined including Andrea.

We all(around 10 of us) registered, have a photo shoot b4 we put on the contact lens, then we went and collect our contact lens and put it on. Well i'll definately face dufficulties putting it on by myself so i just asked the guy there to put it on for me. Well he kept praising me GOOD! cause he manage to put on both contact for me within 5 minutes. Fast huh? I thought i would cause some problems to him cause i was afraid that i will blink my eyes all the time but surprisingly i did not!

Then we had to go for a MAKE UP(gosh this is the worse part!) and we headed for our second photo shoot b4 we proceed to our class. Oh ya! Wat me and Edgar did right after the photo shoot was to wash all the make up. We were all late by20 minutes...but Jana was ok. Thank god!

And of course through out the class, others were all using this as a discussion topic.....

It wasn't that bad actually when i put it on and wearing it throughout my class... but the thing is i do look ......with contact compared to specs so that is definately not my choice.

But what makes me more sure that i wouldn't want to give another dam try on it was when i took it off! I took almost 30 mins to take them out and my eyes were soooooo bladi pain man! Couldn't stand it. Pity Kay Sim, he couldn't take it off by himself so he went to the booth to ask for help. but the people there can't even take it out for him...so hard man! and he took almost 45 mins to take that bladi thing out from his eyes and what he said when he returned to class? "Will never wear Contact Lens AGAIN!!!"

Yesterday, we(the Marche gang) met again for some serious discussion. But, b4 we start our discussion, we went to State. For Salsa trial class. Yes 7 of us. 3 guys 4 gals.

Apparently its like this. Yee Yoke was a very passionate Salsa dancer. So on that day when we had our dinner together, she asked everyone to join the trial class and at least have a try wor...
And we agreed. So we went there.

Well it was quite fun cause we all luaghed at each other... All the guys were so stiff.... and we were like....awhh...dunno how to describe! We just move like a robot and didn't even try shaking our bodies etc... and i was told by the instructor(She can dance really well, so gracefully.. u will fall in love with her man i tell u!) not to dance HIP HOP...gosh!since when i was a HipHop dancer? lolz...

Didn't take any picture. Shy. Embarrassing. If we happen to have another try then i shall snap some for display..kaka

Air Asia.... Pink for October

Yesterday i was reading an article about Air Asia. Air tickets are fully booked for the Gold Coast trip as the price offered was really attractive. So this morning when i had my class, suddenly talked to Yp about this issue and i came to know about this. Maybe to some of you who always travel, you'll will know this for sure but for people like me who travels once in a blue moon, i just knew it.

You know why Air Asia can offer such cheap tickets compare to the others? ONE of the reason is that the ticket/air fare is excluding meals and drinks(Not all okay). Therefore if you want to have a sip of water, you've got to pay another RM2 and as for others, you pay according to the price list.

What makes me laugh out loudly is that my friend said that the trip to Holland offered by Air Asia, YEs! They provide food...but you know what was it? Just a Malaysia Nasi Lemak. What de?!....>.< Thats all i want to share.

Yesterday i visited YP's blog and coincidentally he was also talking about this issue.

Well i am now joining my friend Yee Piao who was inspired by pelf with her post “I’m going pink!” in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Awareness Month and help spread a word on the awareness of breast cancer.

My first post on this issue is just to share one small message which i have always hear it from all advertisements in radio @ TV Shows, this message(The awareness of Breast Cancer) is not only for women/female but also guys! Guys can have Breast Cancer either.

Felt Bad...but Glad

I've got a friend a.k.a my KAI MA(in cantonese) which i've known her since i started joining PBC in my former school CHS. She was a very kind and loving person. She really loves me and take good care of me especially when i was in my Form 1 and Form 2(and thats the time where she asked me to be her godson)... She held a birthday party for me among all the PBC members for the first year and it was so touched...and there are many many more....and at that time i did nothing for her.

Slowly she wasn't that active in society where i was..so we hardly meet. Make things short, during one of the SPM days someone called us and asked us to attend her wedding dinner at.... We got a shocked of our life and as you know what are all the thoughts that popped up during that time and as i was having my SPM i didn't attend. However i did wished her through phone and we did sms for the two days to know more about her life at that time. She got married bcoz she was having a baby. I was really shocked. At that time, i think she was really busy(i knew it lately) but i thought she was...you know, angry with me or what?? cause i've not been visiting her or what...then FULLSTOP.

We've not been contacting each other for almost 2yrs.

Today i was really glad that i received my MOM's message via Friendster. Subject is this: "I finally meet you here". She wrote things there. Though was short but she still cares and i am glad she's really working out with her family though she was young and this thing proves to most of the people who have bad perceptions on this issue.

How well and how good is her life? i am not really sure but i will soon visit her somehow this or next week. Can't wait to see her and my godsister!..keke

After having a short break for three days, we the CAT students got to be ready for classes again and prepare for our MOCK exam which will take place in three weeks time(scary isn't it? exam coming after an exam).

Today we had Voon Sia's class. Something embarrassing happened to me...not mentioning it here but those in my class will know for sure...nothing to be proud of.

Then i had my break for 1hour. We headed towards the library and YP helped me in some of the features in my blog...

Then we went for Paper 6's class. Jana was really very fast. Actually were the Girls not him. He finished all the exam scripts and we got our results. Highest was 81%.Well my marks was better than what i've expected and thank god!

My Weekend at Gardens...Home

Gosh i can't believe i went to the same place today! The Gardens. After discussions from my mom and dad...they finally decided to pay Gardens their first visit instead of Pavillion but for me it'll be my second time and since i've got no plans for the day, i followed.

Well they agreed that they're all branded stuffs here and its somehow like KLCC (an exclusive shopping place) my mom said. After walking and walking, we finally came to my favourite time- EAT!

We walked to Mid Valley and we decided to give "Dlish" a try. Not bad, the food here. And guess what? My dad spotted Febe, the Malaysian artist. DJ, TV Host and recently she was also a singer. She looked down as u can see because of all the critics she've received lately. How sad celebrity's life is at times.

After our meal, we headed to Carefour and Jusco for some groceries and guess what! I saw the Malaysia Singer Danny One Lik Ming(composer...not bad u noe his song) at Jusco.

Came home. Slept. SMs. Eat. Online and finally at 8pm we all sat down and watched
TVB8 全球华人新秀歌唱大赛(Int Singing Competition by TVB8)

This competition was really impressive. We all (My family members) came out with a conclusion that this years competition was really competitive and this made the Malaysia team(for your information, Malaysian team was the champion for this competition for the past 6/7 years) only able to get into the Top 10 but not Top 4. And lastly a China contestant emerged to be the champion.

The Gardens

I am so outdated! I just can't believe that i...don't even know the existence of The Garden next to Mid Valley till i visited Thiam Hin's blog the day right after my exam...paiseh man!

Today after meeting some of my juniors at my former high school which is located approx 2km from the school, i finally decided to pay The Garden a visit with my friend.

The Gardens!

It is the second phase of Mid Valley. The Gardens contain a high-end shopping centre, one hotel, residential suites and office space.

According to what i knew, The Gardens will have 200 shops and the most attractive part of this new building is the ROOF GARDEN.

The architecture of this building was impressive in MY OPINION....
Nevertheless the shops here are all BRANDED.

ANother thing that i felt interesting was this:

Lame i know...lolz

Well after visiting The Gardens we headed back to MV. Can't afford to spend my day here. It will be too costly.

Marche Fever...

Two weeks ago me, TL and CM came across Marche in The Curve and for college students like us we can't afford to have a proper meal there because the price here is killing i tell you. U can easily spend RM70 and above for a meal (as in you want to have a full and proper dinner)

THe Concept of Marche Restaurant

1. Everyone will be given a card when u enter into the restaurant.
2. Find the place u like and sit down.
3. Go get your food at various stalls located in the middle of the restaurant. (quite alot variety)
4. Once u get your food the waiter there will chop a chop on the piece of paper.
5. Pay when u leave the place. Show ur card to cashier and pay b4 u leave.

How i feel about this concept here...

I shall say the concept used here was quite clever. When you find the food here nice and when u just need to get your card chopped when ypu want to placed an order, you'll tend to forget about the amount you'll need to pay. This is what happened to me last time when i came here with my family...hehe...dad pay so no worries...and now i noe how it really feels...

When u reach the cashier counter...your heart beat tends to increase...hehe

However i gotta express my GRATITUDE to all malays!!!

because we get to enjoy a Ramadhan Buffet promotion for the month...wakaka!..

RM 38++ from 6pm-11pm...its really worth it compare to the normal days.

28/9/07 We made it!

And we fellows gathered ourselves today to have a GAO GAO dinner together. 7pm we plan to gather but end up everyone reached around 8pm and at that time it was full. So we made a reservation then we went for a walk...within 10 minutes we got ourselves seated. So lucky!

It was really an enjoyable dinner we had. We were all from the CHS previous badge's Chinese Society members and see how united we were?! lolz... Shared alot here and with the presence of Mr Ooi, our dinner will definately be fun because of all his jokes man and it really was!

We were so full because of two reasons:
1. The food. We really ate alot....
2. The lughter. Mr Ooi was really really...awhhh! Besides laughing you'll do nothing!

However....

One thing i got to complain! U noe wat? This buffet only allows us to eat but excluded BEVERAGES! How can we survive! Clever rite? But we were also clever...some of us brought our own water bottle coincidentally and some really din drink at all until we left the restaurant at about 10pm then we find another place for DRINKS!....Two of them just ordered mineral water. And they were so glad that they allow to refill for mineral water so they drank alot there...lolz..

The one on the left side: Mr Ooi. Followed by Yee Cheng, Yit tze, Hui peng, Yee yoke, Chew min, Hui huay and Corey....(too bad lydia left us early)
