Never Forget 19th April!

Yeah! Today is my birthday. My birthday really benefit a lot of parties...why? Firstly, Sunway CAT Group 3 was given a day off on today! Secondly, all citizens in Ipoh were also given a holiday because its the Sultan of Perak's birthday. Wow! din noe my birth date so important..hehe sorry for being so Perasan!

Well this is a summary on how i spent my day.

Morning: 8am-1pm
I went to my baby sitter's house this morning cause i had a recording session at SS2 at 11am for the prgramme That's Me (Astro Aec's programme). Its just a short promo clip but took us 2 hours to finish it.

Afternoon:2pm-6pm
Went to Sunway Pyramid to meet up my frens. Ya..the three of them. Once i reached there, they were playing snooker. I din really played but still get to play 2 rounds and at least learn how to hold the CUE? Then we went for our lunch at Pizza Hut again...dunno y? Next, we went for a movie, The Reaping...

Birthday Eve...

Today is my Birthday Eve?! To be more precise, its Tze Kuen's Birthday. Ya.. his Birthday falls on the day before mine...

Yesterday he asked me if i were free to join him for dinner tonight and as i was told by Ker Sim and Xiao Wei, i said no because we wanna give him a surprise. However, today this plan were ruined by Xiao Wei and Ker Sim themsleves because they appear in front of Tze Kuen once they reach Sunway Pyramid. Now, i will be the only surprise. I went there by bus alone. So once i reached, i saw them laughing but noone realise me...hehe..I jumped out in front of Tze Kuen and he got a shocked! haha..

After giving him his present, he brought us to Pizza Hut!.... Oh ya, i got my present from them too!.. Guess wat? U observe...

We were waiting for Tze Kuen's fren . So while waiting, we took photos.

Well kinda happy cause i went online and checked that my blog has a total of 110 views for today!... the most viewed day ever!... Before that it was just an average of 50 views a day. Well thanks to all my frens. This is a good news and good birthday present for me too!

Fraud

I just had my lesson about "Fraud" last week. As an accounting student, we have to study this chapter in order for us to Identify and Prevent Fraud. This chapter was quite interesting compared to the others because we were exposed to the world of Fraud haha...we learned how people intended to commit fraudulent activites by theft of cash, theft of stock, payroll fraud etc....

One thing interesting that u'll find in my book is this:

Here we consider examples in which the intention is to overstate profits so to.... You should perform this exercise yourself.
a) Over-valution of stock..............

What? u mean we r advised to perform Fraud activities ourselves?! My whole class laughed out loudly. Throughout the lesson I came accross lots of examples and of course, one of the most recent and common one is Enron Corp. and Arthur Andersen's. I wasn't familiar with this at all and when i asked my friend, Yee Piao what is it about and when did it happened, he just said: "That time u were still young. It happened in the late 90's " I was thinking like what? Since it was at the late 90's why would u, a guy who was born in the year of 1990 know this?! Anywayz, i am now reading about this case online so i won be the" Frog who hides underneath the Well".

Firstly, i would like to draw your attention to this company's History.

Enron Corporation, is a defunct American company based in Texas. Enron filed for bankruptcy protection in late 2001(not 1990 something, my fren).Enron employed around 21,000 people and was one of the world's leading electricity, natural gas, pulp and paper, and communications companies, with claimed revenues of $111 billion in 2000. Fortune named Enron "America's Most Innovative Company" for six consecutive years. It achieved infamy at the end of 2001, when it was revealed that its reported financial condition was sustained mostly by institutionalized, systematic, and creatively planned accounting with Arthur Andersen accounting firm.

This is the interesting part where u will noe how this Company commit fraudulent activities/ in what ways they do fraud!...haha

As was discovered, many of Enron's 1)recorded assets and profits were inflated, 2) putting debts and losses into entities formed "offshore" that were not consolidated with the company's financial statement and, in addition, by the 3)use of other financial transactions between Enron and related companies formed to take unprofitable entities off the company's books.

Wow, isn't it interesting. Just can't believe this.

This company has a revenue of $111 billion a year, owns and operates 38 electric power plants worldwide and one of it is the largest thermal power plant in Central America. Why would such a wealthy company involved in such irrational activities which will not benefit them in the long run!?

My Week...

I was preparing for my exam for the whole week. Well i think i'm still able to pass. Not aiming much for this test but the real one...haha

Last week, 10th April was one of my best fren, Yee Piao's Birthday! He expected a lot from us and especially when i accidentally sent the wrong message to him where i was supposed to send it to Edgar. The SMS was like this: "So wat is our plan for him..his birthday u noe.." ....ya i noe i was too silly to send this to the birthday guy?! Wat to do? I alwiz send the wrong message to the wrong person.

So after class, we went to Sunway Pyramid as usual and we spent our day at Mac Donalds. After a while, we gave him his present...

After my exam yesterday, as usual i went to my junior's house in OUG to help them for their preparation.... This morning the competition was held at 9am. Ya... they manage to get into finals and my sister, LIVIA was awarded the best speaker...haha : IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY.... yeah!
Since i alwiz talk about debate. Well this is one of the picture taken during the competition.

At around 1pm, i left the place and headed towards KL Sentral to meet them again! Them as in... Edgar, Yee Piao and Jason... Yee Piao and I wanted to visit the PC Fair held in KLCC so we forced them to accompany us.

This is the PC Fair. Crowded, packed, stuffy etc etc..

After visiting the PC Fair, we were BRUSHED by Ed. and Jas. They just think that its a waste of time and energy walking around. Actually i don find anything special though. It was really very crowded and things sold there weren't as cheap as things sold in Low Yat or even some shops in PJ so wat for? Anyway, its an experince for me and Yp.




The only OUTCOME of this fair is a free calender... Sweat!...



Well, after visiting the PC Fair, we decided to go for a movie.. Sunshine, Reaping, Hanibal Rising or wat?!



They were confronting each other for watching different movies... Without further delay, we headed towards TGV and so to buy our tickets. Of course, who will be the Black Sheep? Me la... i was the one purchasing tickets where as my so call "frens" went for window shopping.

I chose the Sunshine... y? because....


Ya...she is casting in this movie(with Hiroyuki Sanada,Cillian Murphy, Chris Evans, Rose Byrne, Benedict Wong and Troy Garity). And guess what! Her name in this movie is Cory.! haha...can't believe it...

Well this show wasn't that nice compare to movies like Mission to Mars etc so i felt so guilty that all my frens gotta accompany me for the two hours in the cinema.. luckily they are kind.... The show was kinda boring but the climax was nice and manage to awakened Edgar from sleeping because the computer signaled the existence of the Fifth person in the Icarious 2(the name of the spaceship if m not mistaken) where there should be only 4...... wanna noe more? Go watch urself...

Today i arrived college at 9am to meet up my frens for some Paper 5 studies before Mr Jayan's class. Before that we went for our breakfast at Pan Mee's House. Yee Piao strongly recommended its curry mee. So without hesitating, i ordered one. Surprisingly, the curry mee i had was awesome! Nice! Really Nice!

After our breakfast we went back to college and when i passed by the Foyer i saw my teacher and some junior prefects from my from my former school....(Pn Lim Peck Poh, Choon Lim, James, YIn Bin, Sarah, Yi Rui etc...)They were here to usher those participants and schools who joined the Caligraphy Competition. I went to them and had a short chat with them... too bad i don have a camera... can't snap few shots withem...

Then we went to library to study and i saw Ee Leen.. studying alone there. Wow! So hardworking. Later we went to Mr Jayan's class. Well his class were as usual. But this time he talked sooooooo soft and i can hardly hear him at times although i m sitting on the first row.. but i cant blame him also...he wasn't feeling well at all..

Something happened right now... My stomach is aching... Very Very pain... i think its the Curry's fault... i went to the toilet twice.. Yee Piao said it was not his fault cause he asked me to take Curry Mee not Curry Pan Mee cause there is another sort of chemical reaction if we take Curry PAn Mee....

So i asked my dad to pick me up one pm sharp... Special thanks to Yuan Yuan becauses she offered me tissues and some pills... so nice of her...Thank You!

Once i reached home, i had a nap... till 6pm. Now i gotta settle down everything and start studying again! Paper 4(Mainly calculation paper) and Paper 5(totally theory paper) exam this Saturday! Crazy Sunway TES...

初恋@ First Love

昨晚我无所事事,八点钟便上床眠一眠;但是实在没办法入睡。十点半，我拿起了MP4 机听988...我不知道为什么我越听越想听，越听越喜欢这节目，也从来没有这么舍不得离开988...直到凌晨一点。－－丽叶主持的午夜节目...我忘了节目名...

我欣赏她的主持方法，很舒服。她的节目主要接听听众电话、SMS，为人解困！

以下是昨晚其中一个听众的困惑。。。

初恋

听众： 丽叶姐，我今年十四岁，刚有了喜爱的对象。我们在一起了，我怕会 失去这段感情，请问我有什么应该做，什么应该避忌的吗？

丽叶姐： 哇！这好难讲，似乎个人主观喜欢些什么你就要多做；讨厌些什么你就要避忌！但是在这阶段，别担心这么多，也不必想会失去这段感情，不然你总是会活在提心吊胆的感情世界里，不会寻求到快乐！既然是初恋就得好好地品尝与享受这个过程。也许你受到很多旁人的经验和训话所影响而有了阴影。但是这些所谓的“理性"之音往往不必介怀。有时东西来了就要好好接受、享受；该走的时候它总会走！真的担心不了这么多！好好享受这段初恋吧！(她大概这么说。)

我听了，想下想下真的很对！这世上真的有人在初恋、拍拖时想这么多吗？有！为什么想？不知道！也许是个性问题，不想“打没把握的战”；也也许是....?还有吗？ 哈哈！

初恋众所周知便是一个人的“第一次恋爱”。说明是“初"，当然一生人只有一次！....初恋的恋爱形式是怎样的呢？哈！这因人而异。我看过，有单纯且甜蜜形的、有各忙各但又互相体贴形的、更有非单纯式，可以做出某种你想象不到的行为的，但你却不能说他们是为了某种目的而在一起的！

但说回来，初恋，无可否认必定给大家都留了一个很深刻的印象！无论短暂还是长远；但是所谓“不在乎天长地久，只在乎曾经拥有”。那些甜蜜的回忆和举动可谓是"此举只应天上有，人间难得几回闻”。这时的我们也陷入了“所谓”无比的快乐和欢乐当中....

所以昨天听了那则疑问不尽让想了这个问题？！：“既然已经乐在其中，又何必乐中寻苦？忧这忧那呢？这岂不是自讨苦吃吗？”

丽叶姐说得对！何不好好享受这过程呢？何必担心这么多？！这知会让我们活在战战兢兢的感情世界里。我们也只会为这条感情路上加上更多不必要的麻烦和猜测。或许到头来真正破坏这段感情、让这感情路更快标上句号的正是那班“担心重重”的人。好好享受初恋和接下来的恋爱吧，朋友！

Sugar Free?!

Well today i had nothing special to write about. Stayed at home the whole day, sleeping, watching downloaded dramas, eating etc...

My mom went to Secret Recipe and bought a so call "Sugar Free" cake !
Ya, thats de name of this cake! Can't believe it! I've never heard of it b4! So i went to have a try on this cake! My gosh! No difference la... Still sweet... Nothing special...so dunno wats de name for...hehe

Can't manage to take the picture cause the cake finished di...not by ME obviously...
