Well i am sure this is not a new word to you all: FACEBOOK-ing

Online:
Some of my friends will say this: "Wait. Brb. Facebooking" "Wait. Someone just bite me!gtg"


Ya..this is mainly the Facebook's homepage. It is another network thingy for teens like us to hang out and chit chat. Something like friendster. But when i say this, someone/most of them will shoot me: "Its different! Facebook is betta ok?"
What is that so fun? Ya..it has got alot of new features in it. All sort of games i.e Counter Strike, War Book etc. You can even Superpoke, slap, Bite, Throw a sheep, Hug, SPank or do whatever u wanna do to ur friend in it.

Well i would say its fun at the first time and especially when i saw my homepage there are notices like:
Carmen hit u
Athena Superpoke u
Nicholas water fight with u
Jun Zian pinch u
Li Xien hug u
Lilian's Zombi bite u etc etc

But u noe, if u wan all these interactions to keep going on between u and your friends, u gotta do the same thing to them and this is where u gotta spend time clicking this and that. . . .

And now i find it irritating is whenever i log into my homepage, i got 20 over notification asking me to add applications... Argh! ! ! ! it takes time and it alwiz makes my computer hang GEI half way...sorry guys if i ignore ur request!..

However it is, i will still use it la in order for me to keep track with my friends in overseas as people overseas loves FB..but not that crazy for it like what my other friend was doing..
Friendster is still my cup of tea!

Today in my college, there is a new booth up for promoting CIBA Vision's Contact Lens.

We were at first not interested at all. Walk by the booth look look then go makan di. Suddenly Andrea Ma the Big sister(who said i will just watch Ee Leen joining the thingy) asked Ee Leen to give a try...then dunno what happen in a sudden everyone joined including Andrea.

We all(around 10 of us) registered, have a photo shoot b4 we put on the contact lens, then we went and collect our contact lens and put it on. Well i'll definately face dufficulties putting it on by myself so i just asked the guy there to put it on for me. Well he kept praising me GOOD! cause he manage to put on both contact for me within 5 minutes. Fast huh? I thought i would cause some problems to him cause i was afraid that i will blink my eyes all the time but surprisingly i did not!

Then we had to go for a MAKE UP(gosh this is the worse part!) and we headed for our second photo shoot b4 we proceed to our class. Oh ya! Wat me and Edgar did right after the photo shoot was to wash all the make up. We were all late by20 minutes...but Jana was ok. Thank god!

And of course through out the class, others were all using this as a discussion topic.....

It wasn't that bad actually when i put it on and wearing it throughout my class... but the thing is i do look ......with contact compared to specs so that is definately not my choice.

But what makes me more sure that i wouldn't want to give another dam try on it was when i took it off! I took almost 30 mins to take them out and my eyes were soooooo bladi pain man! Couldn't stand it. Pity Kay Sim, he couldn't take it off by himself so he went to the booth to ask for help. but the people there can't even take it out for him...so hard man! and he took almost 45 mins to take that bladi thing out from his eyes and what he said when he returned to class? "Will never wear Contact Lens AGAIN!!!"

Yesterday, we(the Marche gang) met again for some serious discussion. But, b4 we start our discussion, we went to State. For Salsa trial class. Yes 7 of us. 3 guys 4 gals.

Apparently its like this. Yee Yoke was a very passionate Salsa dancer. So on that day when we had our dinner together, she asked everyone to join the trial class and at least have a try wor...
And we agreed. So we went there.

Well it was quite fun cause we all luaghed at each other... All the guys were so stiff.... and we were like....awhh...dunno how to describe! We just move like a robot and didn't even try shaking our bodies etc... and i was told by the instructor(She can dance really well, so gracefully.. u will fall in love with her man i tell u!) not to dance HIP HOP...gosh!since when i was a HipHop dancer? lolz...

Didn't take any picture. Shy. Embarrassing. If we happen to have another try then i shall snap some for display..kaka

Air Asia.... Pink for October

Yesterday i was reading an article about Air Asia. Air tickets are fully booked for the Gold Coast trip as the price offered was really attractive. So this morning when i had my class, suddenly talked to Yp about this issue and i came to know about this. Maybe to some of you who always travel, you'll will know this for sure but for people like me who travels once in a blue moon, i just knew it.

You know why Air Asia can offer such cheap tickets compare to the others? ONE of the reason is that the ticket/air fare is excluding meals and drinks(Not all okay). Therefore if you want to have a sip of water, you've got to pay another RM2 and as for others, you pay according to the price list.

What makes me laugh out loudly is that my friend said that the trip to Holland offered by Air Asia, YEs! They provide food...but you know what was it? Just a Malaysia Nasi Lemak. What de?!....>.< Thats all i want to share.

Last weekend Datuk Michelle Yeoh and his fiance, the Ferrari CEO Jean Todt was at KL promoting this event and visited some Breast Cancer patients.

Yesterday i visited YP's blog and coincidentally he was also talking about this issue.

Well i am now joining my friend Yee Piao who was inspired by pelf with her post “I’m going pink!” in conjunction with the Breast Cancer Awareness Month and help spread a word on the awareness of breast cancer.

My first post on this issue is just to share one small message which i have always hear it from all advertisements in radio @ TV Shows, this message(The awareness of Breast Cancer) is not only for women/female but also guys! Guys can have Breast Cancer either.

Felt Bad...but Glad

I've got a friend a.k.a my KAI MA(in cantonese) which i've known her since i started joining PBC in my former school CHS. She was a very kind and loving person. She really loves me and take good care of me especially when i was in my Form 1 and Form 2(and thats the time where she asked me to be her godson)... She held a birthday party for me among all the PBC members for the first year and it was so touched...and there are many many more....and at that time i did nothing for her.

Slowly she wasn't that active in society where i was..so we hardly meet. Make things short, during one of the SPM days someone called us and asked us to attend her wedding dinner at.... We got a shocked of our life and as you know what are all the thoughts that popped up during that time and as i was having my SPM i didn't attend. However i did wished her through phone and we did sms for the two days to know more about her life at that time. She got married bcoz she was having a baby. I was really shocked. At that time, i think she was really busy(i knew it lately) but i thought she was...you know, angry with me or what?? cause i've not been visiting her or what...then FULLSTOP.

We've not been contacting each other for almost 2yrs.

Today i was really glad that i received my MOM's message via Friendster. Subject is this: "I finally meet you here". She wrote things there. Though was short but she still cares and i am glad she's really working out with her family though she was young and this thing proves to most of the people who have bad perceptions on this issue.

How well and how good is her life? i am not really sure but i will soon visit her somehow this or next week. Can't wait to see her and my godsister!..keke

Back to College

After having a short break for three days, we the CAT students got to be ready for classes again and prepare for our MOCK exam which will take place in three weeks time(scary isn't it? exam coming after an exam).

Today we had Voon Sia's class. Something embarrassing happened to me...not mentioning it here but those in my class will know for sure...nothing to be proud of.

Then i had my break for 1hour. We headed towards the library and YP helped me in some of the features in my blog...

Then we went for Paper 6's class. Jana was really very fast. Actually were the Girls not him. He finished all the exam scripts and we got our results. Highest was 81%.Well my marks was better than what i've expected and thank god!

My Weekend at Gardens...Home

Gosh i can't believe i went to the same place today! The Gardens. After discussions from my mom and dad...they finally decided to pay Gardens their first visit instead of Pavillion but for me it'll be my second time and since i've got no plans for the day, i followed.

Well they agreed that they're all branded stuffs here and its somehow like KLCC (an exclusive shopping place) my mom said. After walking and walking, we finally came to my favourite time- EAT!

We walked to Mid Valley and we decided to give "Dlish" a try. Not bad, the food here. And guess what? My dad spotted Febe, the Malaysian artist. DJ, TV Host and recently she was also a singer. She looked down as u can see because of all the critics she've received lately. How sad celebrity's life is at times.

After our meal, we headed to Carefour and Jusco for some groceries and guess what! I saw the Malaysia Singer Danny One Lik Ming(composer...not bad u noe his song) at Jusco.

Came home. Slept. SMs. Eat. Online and finally at 8pm we all sat down and watched
TVB8 全球华人新秀歌唱大赛(Int Singing Competition by TVB8)

This competition was really impressive. We all (My family members) came out with a conclusion that this years competition was really competitive and this made the Malaysia team(for your information, Malaysian team was the champion for this competition for the past 6/7 years) only able to get into the Top 10 but not Top 4. And lastly a China contestant emerged to be the champion.
